Creating a Watermark Image Behind Your Text in Word

  1. Insert > Clip Art/Picture.

  2. Go to View > Toolbars > Picture.

  3. Click on the Image Control Icon (black and white thick line icon below postcard).

  4. Choose > Watermark.

  5. Click on Clip Art/Picture to be sure it is open.

  6. Go to icon on toolbar that looks like a square with a dog standing in it.

  7. Choose > Behind text.

  8. Use the contrast and brightness control icons to dim Clip Art/Picture to fade that you want.

  9. Size Clip Art/Picture and centre it on your page.

  10. Now you can type over your Clip/Art picture and have it appear in the background.

Note:
You may have to repeat item 6 to 8 if your text goes behind the Clip Art/Picture.
